The TIger shark is called this because the adult Tiger shark has stripes on its back. Adult Tiger sharks are active at night and end shallow lagoons to feed. When attacking it circles its prey for a long time. Then it bumps it prey with its snout or fin. It upper jaw is not connected to its skull so it pushes its jaw forward to bite its prey.
